INTERNSHIP
My internship at Oscar de la Renta consisted of buying fabric and trims, drafting patterns for samples, sewing samples, draping, researching, preparing for the Pre-Spring Show, embroideries, etc.
DRAPING FOR SPRING '25
Reference Image..
This project involved creating one-minute drapes inspired by the neckline on the reference image, for potential silhouettes for the Spring ’25 collection.
PRINT MOCK-UPS
I was given nine prints to experiment with in terms of size, orientation, and combination for a jersey long-sleeve dress. I created over 25 mock-ups.
LACE CUT-OUT PLACEMENTS
I was given some lace cut-out designs to play with their placement on a midi skirt to show RTW Design Director.
MUSLIN SAMPLE
Cut patterns and sewed a skirt muslin sample in under two hours, which was used for Design Director's draping exploration
GRATEFUL FOR THE EXPERIENCE
